Our facilities are ideal for functions, events, training sessions, exhibitions, sports groups, exercise classes and more. We welcome bookings both from the community and businesses. Full Wi Fi facilities are available for hirers.
Main Hall
The Main Hall includes a stage with a ceiling-mounted projection screen and audio system. There is a well equipped servery and kitchen at the opposite end; the servery has a fridge, freezer, toasters, kettles, filter coffee machine and a large capacity water heater for hot drinks. In the adjoining kitchen there is a commercial cooker with six full size rings, double oven and alongside that a generous hot cupboard and a microwave oven. A commercial dishwasher speeds things up when catering for larger numbers.
WiFi is available and if you require it for your event please inform us when making your booking so that we can issue the password.
Separate Ladies and Gentlemen’s cloakrooms are accessed from the Entrance Foyer and there is a separate toilet for the disabled.

Stage & Side Annexes
There is an area adjoining the stage suitable for small meetings up to 10 people and a larger Side Annex suitable for meetings up to 25 persons. In this side annex is a retractable ceiling-mounted projection screen. Beyond that there are retractable doors into a large storage area for chairs and 34 Gopack collapsible tables. The tables are stacked on five separate trollies that can been taken and wheeled around the Hall to ease the work of setting up and clearing away. Look for the brakes down by the wheels. Note the light switch for the store is in the Main Hall, not in the Side Annex. Sliding, retractable doors separate the Side Annex and Main Hall. Please note that the large brushes used for sweeping the floor of the Main Hall are hanging on the wall at the back of the Side Annex store. Please use them and replace afterwards. To complete the job dustpans and brush are beside the large fridge in the main servery.
Heating
Background heating is provided throughout winter months by night storage heaters in all areas while additional heating can be turned on, when the Hall is in use, by activating various wall and ceiling mounted appliances which are governed by timer switches. There are no additional charges for electricity or heating.
Maximum Capacity
In the combined Main Hall and Side Annex fire regulations permit accommodation for up to 180 persons seated, or 280 standing. In the Meeting Room the figures are 32 and 50. For greater comfort we currently provide seating in the Main Hall for just 160 and in the Meeting Room for 25. Floor space in the Main Hall is approx 1650sq ft and with approx 350sq ft for the Side Annex the combined area is about 2000sq ft when the separating doors are retracted.
